Panic devices are the most common locking device. Depending on your application, you may want a mechanic RIM Panic, a mechanic Vertical Rod Panic, or an electrified panic. Electrified panics are great locking devices when using a wall reader, and are fire alarm friendly. Mechanical RIM and Vertical rod panic devices are more common, and more cost effective. With no low voltage needed, these are ideal options for access points where running cable would be costly.
